Thank you, 2026 edition

On Sunday 23 August 2026 Ulbeek filled up again. Start and finish sat between the church and Patton Drivers, with kids runs, 5 km and 10 km. Thanks to all runners, volunteers and sponsors. The terrace by the church, the podium ceremonies and the medals for the children made it another true village day.

Sunday 19 September 2027

Ulbeek Loopt takes place on Sunday 19 September 2027. Kids run at 10:00; 5 km and 10 km start together at 10:30 (mass start). Registration will open via TimeToRun. Keep an eye on this page and the HSLC channels.

What is Ulbeek Loopt?

Ulbeek Loopt is the village race of Ulbeek (Wellen) in Haspengouw: kids runs of 200 and 500 metres, then 5 km and 10 km. Start and finish sit between the church and Patton Drivers. All proceeds go to the loyal participants of the Helpshop Loop Criterium. The runner comes first — fast or here mainly for the atmosphere.

The Helpshop Loop Criterium (HSLC) has brought together races in Central and South Limburg since 2021. Ulbeek Loopt is one race of that season. Other races are on hslc.be.

Ulbeek is part of Wellen, in the rolling Haspengouw landscape of Limburg. The race stays small and warm on purpose: short lines, a clear course, and room for both fast runners and anyone who comes for the atmosphere. Residents of Ulbeek also compete for a local podium.

Course & Experience

The route takes you through the heart of Ulbeek with rolling hills and green fields. Start and finish are centrally located in the village between the church and Patton Drivers.

Coming by bike is best. By car: follow local signage in Ulbeek and keep residents' driveways clear. Start and finish are at Ulbeekstraat 28, 3832 Ulbeek (Wellen).
